FRONTLINE reexamines police behavior in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina

FRONTLINE, in collaboration with ProPublica and The Times-Picayune, investigates a number of questionable police shootings in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Law & Disorder reexamines police behavior and raises new questions about the actions of New Orleans law enforcement after the catastrophe. The report reveals that, in the midst of post-Katrina chaos, commanding officers issued orders to use of deadly force and ignore long-standing emergency policy procedures. A quote from the investigation: "we have authority by martial law to shoot looters."
